Our training is generally about using Facebook to promote your business using posts, competitions, campaigns & adverts.
We do get asked quite a lot by attendees about personal use of Facebook.
One of our friends recently started asking about what we do as a company & what sort of advice we provide.
It was clearly a loaded question so with a little digging (using the questioning techniques we teach in our sales course) we discovered that a family member was being bullied on Facebook.
So what to do? Here is a quick checklist of the steps to take:

Tell someone you trust!
- Here are the government websites for reporting online or hate crime True Vision, Stop Online Abuse
- Take copies of everything, use screenshots from your pc, laptop, tablet or smart phone
- Put them in a folder that is separate from your general images, that way you can just send the folder without having to see the rubbish again.
- If the person bullying you is someone you work with or are at college report them to the college & the police
Reporting or Blocking Facebook
Here is a link directly to the help page for Facebook it gives you detailed instructions on reporting all content but here are a couple of quick videos you can use to save yourself a bit of time.
These videos are made using the PC Facebook page, if you are using IoS or Android, look for the setting buttons in the top right hand corner of the content.

Look for the same icon & follow the same process to report a question or something in a group you are in. If you report it just to the Group Admin nothing will be sent to Facebook, to report to Facebook just select report, you can do both if you want.
What to do to report a page

To report Photos
If your photos are being miss used by someone you need to complete this online form
To report Videos
To report Event or Fundraiser look for the 
icon, click it & select report from the menu.
Ban User From Company Page
If you have a company page & want to ban a user or reinstate a banned user watch this video
To report Ads you have to do complete a form, Facebook will ask for a Screenshot, use the PrtScn button on your keyboard to take the screenshot (it will be your whole screen!) if you use a split screen use Alt + PrtScn with the cursor on the screen you want to copy.
You can do the same if you see an Ad in an application complete this form
